soyabeans Posted March 4 Share #51 Posted March 4 1. Chemist007 2. In the past, I don't really spend much time on Chinese chat every day, I will visit that chat once in awhile. However, if I'm selected as the Chinese chat moderator, I am committed to maintaining a consistent schedule and dedicating a sufficient amount of time to effectively moderate the chat community. I understand the importance of being present and responsive to user needs, and I'm willing to adjust my schedule accordingly to ensure that the chat runs smoothly. Additionally, I would be available to join and help out with the Eddie's weekly stream every Saturday consistently, as I believe that being an active and engaged moderator can help foster a positive chat environment. 3. A chat moderator is responsible for managing and maintaining an online chat community by enforcing rules, monitoring activity, responding to user inquiries, and fostering a positive and safe environment for all users. 4. As a native Chinese and English speaker, I have a strong ability to communicate effectively with users in both languages and clarify any doubts or questions they may have. This skill can be particularly valuable in a chat community that involves a multilingual user base. pikachu03 Posted March 6 Share #52 Posted March 6 (edited) What is your Stake username? pikachu03 How much time on average do you spend on Chinese chat every day? About 12~16hours per day except for sleeping time. Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is? To build a bridge between the official and the users. A moderator plays an important role in the chatroom not only prevent every user from violating the chat room rules but also keeping the chat room in order. In my opinion, sometimes a moderator could also hold some activities for the users being involved and joining the games. Moreover, a moderator could convey the policies from the official to the users as well. Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat? To help the chat room work much more smoothly. Besides, the Chinese chat room has only one moderator so that sometimes the moderator couldn't be always online. As mentioned above I'm dedicated to playing stake games almost whole day. By working with the other moderator, we could work seamlessly. Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned? Only one time. As the time I just joined Stake because I didn't fully understand the rules so that I typed rain in Chinese word in the chat room. Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform? None, but I'll do my best . Edited March 6 by pikachu03 for bolded the question
