But one interesting thing with Stake is that all bonuses are a policy - to a degree. You know you will get monthly, but you don't know when - which is important, especially in this case when we had 2nd monthly in December. Remember monthly bonus takes last 30 days of wagering into account. So if i get it today for example, my monthly would be based on 500k wagering, and if i get it on 15th Jan it will probably be based on about 100k wager. Also, you know you will get monthly and weekly, but you don't know how much - every other site i ever played on had clear instructions and benefits set in amounts or percentages. Here, it's a wild guess of how much you lost, wagered, got other bonuses, etc. Basically, you get these "benefits" (which are not only benefits for players, they are benefits for casino as well, and a massive one) when Stake decides and in amount Stake decides. They can easily cut everyone's monthly by 15% if they didn't have a very profitable month, and no one would know, or vice-versa. All this mystery around VIP perks which they use to attract players to play here, are pretty much the only thing that bothers me. One other thing is only the fact that those who play "normally" like slot players or sportsbettors, are in disadvantage when it comes to these perks and bonuses, because "stake originals players" wager a lot more with $100, and get better bonuses than "normal" players who usually lose $100 on slots or sports without wagering almost anything.

Sports has a bigger edge than all casino games and slots (apart from scratchers), so 3x wager is a bit weak in the grand scheme of things. One interesting mistake that stake have made a few times now is to set the RTP figure incorrectly in the rakeback calculation for newly released slots. I'd have thought they'd be very careful after that happened the first time, because of how bad it might look, but that wasn't the case. Maybe they have a better system in place now, but given the traffic and wagering that new slots see, that must have been worth a not-inconsiderable amount of money to stake.

Actually, sports does not have bigger house edge compared to other products. On top leagues margin here at Stake is 1-1.5% which is pretty much 98.5-99% RTP. But the thing is you have to invest all your balance, or a lot of it, wait few hours for the game to finish, to be able to place another bet. So with $100 in a day, you can wager maybe $500 if you are lucky. On Plinko you will wager $5000 probably, just because of the speed of the game. The thing is Stake originals are made by Stake, or company they hired, so there is no additional cost for casino. For Pragmatic, Hacksaw or any other provider casino pays monthly revenue share fee of about 10%, can be few percent lower or higher depending on the volume casino has. So casino keeps about 90% of profits. But on Originals, casino keeps 100%, no extra cost, or rev share fees. So for casino like Stake it's more profitable to have player play Plinko and Crash, than sports or slots. Always
