Kargai Posted March 21, 2018 #1 Posted March 21, 2018 Twitter and Square cofounder Jack Dorsey believes that in 10 years or fewer, everyone will be using Bitcoin. That's a pretty bullish announcement but the guy is not a nobody. He know very well the tech industry and one of the key point he see for that is the new tech who will help the blockchain to regulate all the problems we saw in the past months (price of transaction, cloaged network & co). Could he be right ? Jack Dorsey is an early adopter of Bitcoin, he already tried to implement it in Square 3 or 4 years ago without success. He as too early for the market but he's still trying to push things further for a mass adoption. hux Posted March 21, 2018 #2 Posted March 21, 2018 i saw this earlier and found it interesting but i don't believe this because banks and the government would not let this happen as they rely on cash and a large majority of people do not believe in bitcoin because of the price fluctuations and so i believe it will be a large currency but def not the only one

wry Posted March 21, 2018 #5 Posted March 21, 2018 Maybe for some transactions, why not? It's deflationary so it should hold its value and transaction costs seem to be back to low. While I expect it will be another, better (somehow) crypto coin that does this, probably one not even invented yet, this seems like the best way to "be your own bank"! I think quantum computers and their ability to break existing cryptographic standards will prevent Bitcoin from being dominant, but maybe the protocol will be altered before that threat emerges.

He told The Times that cryptocurrencies using the blockchain would be the next major breakthrough. He added that it could take place within the next 10 years; however, it could happen faster than that. Quote The world ultimately will have a single currency, the internet will have a single currency. I personally believe that it will be bitcoin.. Currently in London to promote Square, which was brought to the U.K. last year and already enables its U.S. customers to buy and sell bitcoin through its app, Dorsey did concede that right now bitcoin doesn’t have the ‘capabilities’ to become an ‘effective currency’. Well, like Jack, I also believe that Bitcoin will be the only currency that will be accepted wherever you go around the world after some time.
