Hello stake!

This is the second consecutive week when we are getting less than expected weekly boost.

What has happened.

Is the policy being changed.

There is something wrong with bonuses now

Yes it has been reduced, along with the monthly and daily reloads.

I have to somehow disagree with the attitude here and you might be upset with what I say but - honestly, if Stake wants to pay less bonuses for users - they can do it - the word "bonus" is what it is - a "bonus" - you're not entitled for the bonus, it's given as a gesture of a goodwill.

If you however place a $100 bet to win $90 and Stake pays you only $80 - then we have a problem, but Stake is pretty honest about what it offers.

I do however, feel a bit skeptical about these weekly $75k giveaways - this is where I'd like to know if those tickets we get for $1k wagering are truly worth it, or whether the claims raised in this thread for instance have some truth behind them:

In my opinion, if Stake would simply allow like other sites - to cash those tickets into the balance in the account - it would only do good for everyone, those who feel like participating in these sweepstakes can participate and those who don't can simply get an extra bonus, and this way there is an extra bonus here to compensate for the reduction that people are talking about in this thread.

I don't think this is to be taken lightly , weekly reloads are a form of cashback and as such they should be treated with special care , for many players cashback is a deciding factor on which platform they use.

By reducing weekly bonuses , stake is not only altering their cashback structure but also messing with the level/rank system which is meant to promote long term playing ( implying more net gains for Stake).

I can honestly see this measure impacting their long term profitability, perhaps Medium Rare NV has decided it has become popular enough to start loosing its edge.

On the high roller side this will make less of a difference , but this will push out people who earn some winnings on said bonuses ( and most times end up loosing more than that  before next week) which is actually a good source of  steady income for Stake.

Of course bonuses are not an obligation, but they do make one heck of an incentive. Time will tell , but the classical conditioning theory suggest this move should be imperceptible in order to provide a healthier cash flow ( by minimizing expenses) and its obviously being perceived.

I am a fan of stake , primarily because of their smart moves , now Im beginning to question their long term planning and corporate philosophy.

I wonder if VIP tier bonuses are being reduced. I’m at Plat 1 with 92% completion, debating whether I should make a deliberate effort to reach Plat 2.
Problem is, I find it very difficult to stack VIP points on Stake.. Almost every deposit drains rapidly down to $0 on slots, for example. And, based on my history with Stake, I wouldn’t be surprised if my Plat 2 reward is far less than anticipated…

I'll tell you this as a fact being someone that has leveled to plat 6 when you reach 90% vip completion you lose considerably more often than you did during the first 90% and I have found this to be true with every single vip level up from gold and upwards. See but in a proveably fair system gameplay should be fairly consistent throughout your vip progression and there should not be significantly more losses occuring when you reach the last 10% to level up yet from gold to platinum lvl 6 this has held 100% true. In a proveably fair system this should not have 100% occurrence.. Makes you think don't it....
