Jeebus Posted April 11, 2023 #1 Posted April 11, 2023 Once again, Stake has failed to protect privacy of their players. I've received fake email about monthly bonus asking me to log in into a clone of Stake.com website. It's sent from [email protected] which is not an official Stake email address. I use this particular email only for my Stake account, nothing else is connected to it, and i have not registered with this email on any other casino or non-casino website. Somehow, these scammers know my email address, my Stake username, everything. Only thing i can think about is that this is an inside job, a current or an ex-employee from Stake who had access to this private information.

majali7891 Posted April 11, 2023 #7 Posted April 11, 2023 Soonest I know your Stake account name, Twitter account user, it will be way too easy to get the Email.. lots of social engineering apps can get those data with minimum info required. Even if the emails where from the "previously stolen" data of Stake accounts list, we had been warned about it months ago and everyone should have had his own precautious measures don at that time. I don't know what's the big deal in this issue
thejunespirit Posted April 11, 2023 #8 Posted April 11, 2023 No mystery here, everyone’s emails were sold after the Sendgrid hack. The dump is still getting sold to willing buyers. Stake didn’t really care or do anything about it.
