Stake has no state-specific licenses and is not regulated to operate in the US.

We both know that never happened. Stake.com is not regulated to operate in the US.

Their ‘social casino’ for US residents that runs out of Greece may be legal as they claim that no real money is required. They found themselves a nice and profitable loophole.

Exactly. Stake.us does not have US gambling license. They play for some sort of "tokens", not real money.
Even when you ask support they say Stake.us is not a gambling site, and does not offer real money gambling. While on the side, well..on the side they actually do. Once you verify, you can deposit, gamble and lose your money.
