So be careful with your sports bets prior to this I didn't think this would be something ide have to do but before you place a bet with stake double check with an external source to make sure the score is accurate because if it's not the odds provider will claim no error and even though you have absolute proof of Stake showing the wrong score in a match with active betting open and you can prove it. they will not refund any bets even though you provide proof an error did occur. like in my case I was placing bets that included sea vs oak mlb Stake showed a score of sea 3 oak 5 while I placed my bets but the final score was sea 5 oak 4 so clearly their was a error in the score being wrong during betting but Stake beleives they don't have to refund $19 of bets despite being given proof so be careful they do not care if your bets are affected by error on their part

Thats not new.

Live score is often behind in the window of the actual game. The real score is visible on the live game overview though.

Kind of sad they didn't fix this for years now.

nothing to do with the score not being live they were displaying a completely wrong score showing oakland leading 5 to 3 when oakland never scored 5 points and ended the game with 4

what's messed up is even with me giving proof that this occured and negatively impacted $19 dollars of bets someone who's been active since 2019 and lifetime losses over $200,000 that they won't refund $19

but to have no problem giving $1000 bonus buys to people that's never wagered a dollar on stake. there is no sensible logic in doing the second then denying the first. Because the second gives them no profit as person will likely withdraw the money to use in real life while the first instance could cost them future profit of $100,000s  if i go elsewhere. where they could of just refunded $19 and keep a active player satisfied on a valid complaint so I continue to give them high probability of more income.

say I would of bet $10,000 on oakland to win because it showed bottom of 7th oakland leading 5 to 3 but then match settles and I lost because oakland never led 5. to 3 and seattle won 5 to 4.

but odds provider denies any error occurs and even though I show stake the error giving them absolute proof that a invalid score was shown with active market open for betting.

they refuse to acknowledge  the error. now I'm out $10,000 on a bet that I would not of placed had I been provided with the correct score. See now that's a huge risk we must bear that we can lose a large amount of money due to unfair betting experience being given a false score while placing a wager on said event with no refund despite having proof of the error.

Maybe it's just me but I feel if something not accurate influences my bet(like a wrong score, not delayed score but wrong score) and I prove that inaccurate information was provided that the casino should automatically refund that money if they are operating in good faith. to not do so just says the opposite

True, but there is also a but.

So did the other 8 games win?

If no then there is no need for a refund anyway. Also I dont see you wagered 19$, looks more like 2$.

He probably had more then one bet ticket with this game, which then suggests that he knew score was wrong (but in his favour) and wanted to exploit the situation.

Also, if other selections on the bet slip are not won, there’s nothing to refund. I hate Stake, but any bookie has the right and will void any single bets where score or odds are wrongly displayed, and any multiples where odds or score are wrong they will void only that particular selection, but you still have to win other ones.

it was several parlays on either oakland to win or asain handicap Oak -1.5 all made because i was shown oakland 5 seattle 3. So in total $19 of parlays that included sea vs oakland all placed bottom of the 7th inning when wrong score was still shown.. i say refund because in normal conditions when there is a error the odds provider will void that leg but... since the odds provider denied there being any error they obviously wont void the leg and since i provided proof of the error to stake the only available resolution is to refund the bets when the error leg cant be voided

also you think i like having to bitch over $19 like some poor person. taking this to the forum was last action. i know they wont read this and say yea we were wrong lets do right by a loyal customer especially with the amount so small. Because ive already given them all this info prior to forum post. so its just player informative now. It was never about $19 it was the principle of it all and me thinking stake would do right by a valid complaint. but i was wrong assuming that they would.

trust me if i knew sea 3 oak 5 was not the right score i would not of been betting oak to win and asain handicap oak -1.5 since at the time the true score was sea 4 oak 4. thus proving in no way was i benefitting from the wrong score but indeed a victim of it.

So.... turns out I also bet on this match and there was another one that the score was flipped or incorrect. I wasn't watching the matches just betting the MLs.  No refund no canceled bets. Stake support said it was 3rd party... (both bets for 600USD value).

Fast forward to 2 days ago... I bet on a 2 leg parlay with a nfl bet, by the 3rd q my 2nd leg of the bet was 'canceled' why the game is still live. Confused I go to support and ask them about this.

Now they're saying that widget displayed the score wrong so all bets placed during the wrong score display are canceled. OK cool, so why weren't my other bets on MLB years ago never canceled or refunded?

Support kept copy and pasting and telling me UNFURTUNATELY, blah blah blah.

Seems they will cancel if your bet is likely to win or wins, and if it loses they pretend like the incorrect score was never shown.

Had a pre fight UFC bet the other week, before walkout. Lose but hit promo.... support says I didn't qualify because a delay at the beginning of the event pushing all the "scheduled times" forward therefore technically voiding any ufc promotions if they deem to.

Used this book for many years now. Lost tens of thousands, and get cheated out of promos with no explanation.

Awefully gross stuff going on with stake.com sports book.

All of these issues with the sports book compounding and seemingly getting worse and worse, I am going to see what benefits some other sports books are willing to offer. Nothing worth keeping me here.
