Richterson Posted July 17, 2024 #1 Posted July 17, 2024 Just a friendly warning in regards to the new "drop limit" during stake christmas. I got hit with the limitation after trying to claim one of the "christmas" drops. If you happen to be an active player who participates in the various promos on the site and are at an profit for the week there is a possibility to get "drop limited". Eddie/Steve claimed in the stream that only people who use Autoclaimers or claimed to many drops will get excluded, which doesnt appear to be true. The only drops I have claimed are Eddies stream drops and 1 from the person I am affiliated to, not a single TG drop. I got hit with the limit after trying to claim one of the christmas drops 4 hours after it was posted. During the conversation with the support this sentence sticks out ""The amount of bonuses versus gameplay is currently disproportionate." Which basically means if you use the site activeley and participate in the promos (stake vs eddie, level up, forum challenges, random challenges) and happen to be in profit for the week there is a possibility to get limited on drops. Added Screenshots of my drop claim history and the support conversation. My gameplay is mixed slots/sportsbets/originals my wager is different every week (0 to 40k wager per week) and I believe I use the site like a normal person does. (and yes I am obviously at an overal loss 🙂 ) I will survive just fine without Eddies stream drops and I am never in time for the TG drops anyway but I believe people should know about the possibility of getting excluded before they try to claim an additional 1 dollar TG drop which could potentially cost them the drops they could get during Eddies stream. Great start to "stake christmas" though. I really do feel the christmas spirit 🙂
Tokai2021 Posted July 17, 2024 #2 Posted July 17, 2024 thats a lot of code drops claimed , impressive farming
Zorojuro31 Posted July 17, 2024 #3 Posted July 17, 2024 I wonder how they are making those judgements of limiting one's account. :3 Some who didn't even claim any drops is also limited lol stake is so random.
Illum785 Posted July 17, 2024 #4 Posted July 17, 2024 I’m not Stakes greatest fan and I don’t believe they use the best business practices available but I actually would agree with them on this issue. 10 code drops in 3 hours is excessive. That was the reason they implemented this. You just need to be more aware next time.

Illum785 Posted July 17, 2024 #6 Posted July 17, 2024 I’m not trying to disparage you man, I’m just stating facts. I’ve had my problems with Stake in the past because they would do a lot of shady stuff which I had facts to prove. With your case, it’s hard to defend with facts. Just saying, when Stake is right about an issue, you have to give it to them because you will lose credibility for any future issue you bring up against them. I know you’re upset and I’ve been really angry with Stake many times because of their inconsistencies. Stake already lost a ton of credibility but I’ll tell you that I’m still playing here waiting for the next best thing, which will be coming soon. What I see is not 2 weeks of Eddie’s stream but 1 day where you claimed 10 codes in 3 hours. Sorry man, it is what it is. Eddie doesn’t give out 10 codes.

What I see is not 2 weeks of Eddie’s stream but 1 day where you claimed 10 codes in 3 hours. Sorry man, it is what it is. Eddie doesn’t give out 10 codes. The 13th and the 6th are both saturdays. Both times its Eddies stream and whoever they host which is essentially still Eddies stream. Where do I state I would be angry? I am not I just thought people should know as its a very weird situation where they claim 1 thing on saturdays stream but the reality is a different one and I am 99,99% sure if I didnt place in the HiLo tournament and got a bonus from that while being in profit for the week I wouldnt have been hit with the limit. So that is something to keep in mind if you are active on the platform. Why even bother with TG drops (which again I havent claimed any) when that potentially leads to "missing out" on Eddies goodies during the raffle stream you know? I also know for a fact that plenty of people have 20+ claims a week without any limit so claiming the 5-10 or whatever amount it is from the stream is not the issue here 🙂 I also know for a fact that plenty of people have claimed all the codes from last weeks stream (which I havent I actually missed one) and got several TG drops and streamer drops since then(which I havent) and they havent been limited. So the amount of claims on that day is not what caused this. So that whole conversation about "you claimed so many on saturdays stream" is pointless. I also believe they changed the parameters since yesterday / or my stats for the week fell into a certain treshold. As I tried claiming a different drop the day before (which was unavailable already) and didnt get hit with the limit. It doesnt make much sense to limit people for an unsuccessful claims either but thats just my opinion. The "issue" here is the misleading statements on stream and how there is no clarity. Its nowhere stated or was ever mentioned that other bonuses/profit could lead to a limitation on bonus drops but I believe that is something people should be aware of hence the post, thats all. While I understand that they wont share any parameters to avoid abuse I believe misleading statements which turn out to be false arent the way to go either. I have been friendly and respectful during any support encounter I have ever had and I highly doubt any stake staff would be vindictive even if I wasnt so that is not something I worry about. Heck I would guess they would have to deal with a lot of actual nonsense so having a fairly normal conversation about a topic certainly wont lead to any repercussions. Either way, take care.
Ranieri92 Posted July 17, 2024 #9 Posted July 17, 2024 It's really a shame, it's increasingly clear, even more so with the response posted from support, that the true intention of the stake is not to punish those who use automation means for the remaining drops, but rather, to make the common player cannot maintain their gameplay without amounts deposited recurrently, as several players were able to maintain their gameplay on a weekly basis with only the redeemed bonuses and the minimum deposit. Now with the one-week block, for the user to be able to redeem new drops, they will need to make a deposit to re-wager (which will wait after 7 days), to then compete for drops again. If the intention of the stake was truly to make more people take the available drop, it would be enough to be clear and effectively limit a number of redemptions per player, for example a maximum of 10 redemptions per week. This way, the rule would be clear and we would not be surprised. But this is not what happens, there are cases of players redeeming several codes without any limitation and players being limited to redeeming two or three bonuses. unfortunate.

On average they do not. It should be irrelevent anyway as I deposit/withdraw daily/every second day when I am active. It also should be irrelevant as my account is in overal loss above houseedge. Its also not like I would be up millions this month, its $300 plus on 60k wagered which I would have more than likeley gambled away during the remainder of the month haha Again, my gameplay is rather random(sports/slots/originals) sometimes I play daily for weeks, sometimes I do not play at all. Sometimes I have 0 tickets, sometimes I have 40 tickets. Sometimes I do a 20€ depo for a quick parlay sometimes I did several 6 LTC depositis on the same day. So there is no "pattern" where i would wager exactly to 10k or anything of this sort. So however anyone trys to spin it my gameplay doesnt follow some "grand masterplan".
grivet Posted July 19, 2024 #12 Posted July 19, 2024 brother, simple logic behind this ban is " you are in profit this week"
