sportsguy Posted November 26, 2024 #126 Posted November 26, 2024 What is your Stake username? sportsguy How much time on average do you spend on chat every day? I spend on average 9+ hours a day in a month on stake sports chat. I am also in the sports chat for longer than 12+ hours on the weekends. I am currently unemployed in my real life and would be available as required for this role. I will take this job seriously and will give it my best effort. Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is? To ensure users are having an enjoyable sports chat experience without breaching the rules set in place by the stake team. Moderators are usually secondary to the main discussion and are present to ensure everyone has a good time and feels part of the stake community. Moderators also from time to time will answer queries regarding promotions that are run by stake. They will provide clarifications that are mentioned on the stake site rules for users. Sports chat moderators should also know the rules of various sports and betting rules specific to stake. Different platforms have different rules for certain scenarios. For eg. Betting tennis on stake, the money line bets for bother players are void if a player retires at any point of the match, whereas, some betting sites have rules where the winner after retirement is graded as a winner for the bet. Knowing these nuances is helpful for a sports chat moderator. Sports chat moderator is a where specific role considering some sports might be delayed and such and as a active sports bettor knowing how to help the users in chat appropriately is key. This is a bonus skill in my opinion which is very beneficial to continue providing a good chat atmosphere. Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat? I want to become a sports chat moderator because I have been part of the chat since 2019 and have a good understanding what the role of a stake sports chat moderator is. I have bet on nearly all sports available on stake and am aware of the nuances of the sports betting process. I have wagered extensively on varying lines on sports that make me a good candidate to provide accurate clarifications. I think I have the respect of a lot of individuals who routinely chat in the stake sports chat. I have been a sports bettor for a decade plus and am well versed with regards to the sports rules specific to stake. I genuinely enjoy spending time with the people in sports chat and feel like they are a part of my existence as a human being. The sports chat on stake has helped me emotionally in times when I was down. They've cheered for me when I have an active bet knowing they might not get anything in return. Regardless of my daily life struggles the sports chat on stake is a way to destress and spend quality time with familiar folks. I believe being a moderator is my way of giving back to the stake sports chat. I believe I can ensure that everyone has a good time when they are in stake sports chat in my presence as a moderator. I genuinely believe that other chatters view me as someone they would like to have around. Due to all these reasons I believe I would be well qualified to be a sports chat moderator and would be welcomed as a sports chat moderator by my peers. Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned? Yes, I have been warned and muted but never banned from the stake sports chat. I guess in violation for breaching the rules unknowingly sometimes. I am not a perfect human being. I sometimes forget the rules regarding specific things so I have been warned regarding breaking the rules for those minor infractions. My mutes have been valid as well. I have been muted for sharing a link to a block chain transaction that wouldn't confirm and mods responded but I stepped away after asking the question and asked multiple times so that resulted in a ban. But I haven't been muted for any major infractions. Getting warned and muted has taught me to respect the rules. I have become a better person for going through them and understand how to enforce the rules without overstepping the bounds. Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform? Yes, I have been a moderator in large groups online before professionally for my work. I have also been a moderator on YouTube chat for a few users. In addition I have been a moderator on other content sites as well. I have extensive experience in driving proper engagement in a chat setting whilst ensuring the rules are followed. Are you prepared to work at nighttime? Yes, I am available to work at nighttime. I am available at odd hours or during high demand times. I am fully committed to taking his role seriously and being available when required putting aside personal commitments. Please consider my application for the sports chat moderator role. Thank you to the stake chat moderator selection team for giving me this opportunity to be considered for the role of stake sports chat moderator.

A moderator makes sure the chat stays respectful, follows the rules, and remains a welcoming place to everyone. These include monitoring conversations, addressing issues, and helping users when needed. 4. Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat? I’m passionate about sports and love interacting with others who share the same enthusiasm. I know the sports world inside and out and enjoy keeping the chat fun, helpful, and engaging. 5. Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned? I was muted once, and that was when I was new. I learned my lesson from that. All the other mutes were self-requested or misunderstandings. You are free to look through my history to see for yourself. 6. Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform? Yes, I’m a moderator for xSEHAM’s KICK stream and an Admin in the discord server and have experience managing Kick and Discord chats. I’m familiar with creating a positive community environment and handling various scenarios effectively. 7. Are you prepared to work at nighttime? Yes, I am fully prepared to work at night or whenever I’m needed. My schedule is flexible, and I’m committed to supporting the team. --------------------------------------------------- Thanks for the opportunity. If given the chance, I’ll ensure the chat stays fun, respectful, and engaging for everyone. Edited December 16, 2024 by arcr7 Active hours varied
FRSpoke Posted December 7, 2024 #150 Posted December 7, 2024 (edited) Hello, there is all the answer you asked! 1. My stake username is FRSpoke. 2. I spend around 5 hours per day on chat. 3. A moderator ensures the chat remains friendly, resolves issues, enforces rules, and helps users. 4. I want to help maintain a positive environment, assist users, and ensure the chat runs smoothly. 5. I was muted for reasons that weren't really worth being muted for. 6. Yes, I have already been in charge of support, so more or less a moderator, on a web project I worked on with former friends a little over 10 years ago. 6. I can work occasionally at night, it all depends on the time zone you consider as night shifts. I hope I have answered all your questions positively and that I can work with Stake on the sports chat! Thank you in advance and see you soon! FRSpoke Edited December 7, 2024 by FRSpoke
