Olethedon Posted August 27, 2025 #51 Posted August 27, 2025 1. What is your Stake username?: Olethedon (p2) 2. How much time on average do you spend on chat every day?: past weeks- almost all day 24/7, but udually betveen 12 and 24h a day. 3. Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is?: moderate the chat, give warning to beggers and if they continue, mute them. Be there to help out new and old members that have questions or other queeries and ofcourse do my best to create a funny and nice envirorment that stakers can enjoy. 4. Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat?: i spend very much of my time on stake and in chat. I do enjoy gambling alot but more than that i love talking to others. my number one thing in life is to be good to others and make them feel comfortable and feel like they are welcome. I want to be a tool for others so they can get the full experience of stake and what it has to offer. 5. Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned? : early on i got a warning and mute because i did not know the meaning of "rain", but after that i had my hands clean. 6. Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform?: I have/and i currently work With people. thats someting i have been doing for several years now, especially groups with different personalities, qualities, age and gender ,where the importance of keeping a cool head and a straight tongue is critical. Where you leran the importance to see everyone and take everyone into account. It is possible to qualify as a moderator based on statistics and what is on paper, but the human part is the most important, thats my opinion. The ability to see everyone and listen cannot be learned overnight. And i also moderated and helped friends of mine who streamed for years. 7. Are you prepared to work at nighttime?: working at night is not a problem. That's usually when I'm most active. Almost a year since I became a member here. Didn't discover the chat until a little later, but since then I've been active there both in terms of speaking, time and contributions. Have moved up the ranks, relatively quickly and in a short time. I have to be honest and say that the biggest driver and reason why I'm still here is chat. being able to communicate with others at all hours of the day makes the experience something else. Gambling lately have not given me the same joy. I've felt that it's more of a hassle and that it creates a bad mood. So as I said, chat and the opportunity to talk to others and make someone's day easier is what gives me the spark. additional note -if this position is not up for grabs , i at least hope you guys will consider me for other roles or positions in the future. As of today, the only reason i stillcome bacl here is the chat, people and the oppertunity to comunicate with others. Make chat and stake great again. love Gloriousoz and ruthlessunruly 1 1

Gloriousoz Posted October 13, 2025 #56 Posted October 13, 2025 (edited) *1. What is your Stake username?* Gloriousoz 2.*How much time on average do you spend on chat every day?* I spend an average of *6-12* hours daily actively engaging in chat. I’m not just present, I participate and observe trends across different time zones. 3.*Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is?* A moderator is more than a rule enforcer — they’re a bridge between the community and the platform. They create a safe, welcoming space, encourage meaningful interaction, de-escalate tension, guide new users, and maintain the culture Stake represents. A good moderator prevents problems before they arise, not just reacts to them. 4.*Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat?* I've noticed that the Nigerian chat often gets overlooked, with many messages going unanswered, and at times the energy becomes chaotic or off-brand. Dialect differences is not encouraged so users are stuck with a language pattern, poor communication, and lack of cultural nuance can create misunderstanding and tension. I want to bring *structure*, *warmth*, and *cultural understanding* to this space — not only translating the language but the emotion behind it. My goal is to elevate user experience by making every Staker feel seen, heard, and valued — whether they speak Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, or Pidgin. I’m not applying just to moderate — I’m here to *represent* and *build that Nigerian atmosphere*. 5.*Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned?* Yes muted on different occasions but I now understand and respect the rules, and always strive to keep the chat positive and respectful. 6.*Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform?* Yes, I’ve moderated several Telegram and WhatsApp communities — handling thousands of members. I’m trained in community psychology and conflict resolution. I know how to de-escalate with empathy and authority. 7.*Are you prepared to work at nighttime?* Absolutely. I’ve already been doing this informally. My commitment is full — morning, noon, or night. Thank you for kind consideration. 1. Stake Username: Gloriousoz 2. Daily Chat Activity: 6–12 hours actively engaging, helping, and observing patterns across time zones. 3. Role of a Moderator: Maintain peace, uphold rules, support users, and foster a respectful, engaging environment. 4. Why I’m Applying: Nigerian chat lacks structure, cultural nuance, and real engagement. I want to represent the local voice, encourage dialect diversity, and build a safe, vibrant space. 5. Any Warnings or Mutes? Yes, I’ve been muted before — now fully aware of the rules and focused on creating a positive atmosphere. 6. Moderation Experience: Yes — moderated large Telegram/WhatsApp groups. Skilled in conflict resolution and community management. 7. Night Shifts? Yes — I’m already active at night and fully available across all hours. Edited October 13, 2025 by Gloriousoz
