I’ve noticed that this chat doesn’t have enough moderators and that some negative behaviors are being overlooked.

A moderator should set the example by leading with the way they act and behave while ensuring order and fairness within their community. They should unite, not divide and feel unto them the responsibility of provide transparency for their actions while having to take tough decisions in the time of "crisis"(which the Turkish chat goes through fairly frequently).

 

Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat?

 

I already help the moderators on their diligent efforts to make the Turkish chat a better place through effortlessly reporting with evidences of wrong-doing but I can see that they're having a hard time due to the amount of work that needs to be done. Both to alleviate some of their workload and help the community I'm proud to be a part of to a better place, I want to be a moderator.

Yes, twice. Once for chat hopping to Indian chat(though I did NOT talk anything non Hindi), and second for thrashtalking Eddie, which I still maintain that shouldn't be a ban but I understand under the pressure they are, moderators can be less tolerable.

Moderator's role should be to maintain order in the chat, use disciplinary authority when necessary, and provide users with a comfortable environment.

• An online chat moderator is responsible for ensuring a respectful and orderly environment in accordance with the Stake guidelines. They prevent inappropriate content, mediate conflicts between participants, and provide assistance with member inquiries and concerns. They enforce disciplinary actions such as banning and muting when necessary. Effective communication, patience, impartiality, and technical expertise are essential competencies for a moderator.

Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat?

• I want to become a moderator because I genuinely enjoy interacting with people, helping others, and contributing to a positive and respectful community atmosphere.

• I have never been warned, muted, or banned, as I always follow the rules and encourage fair communication.

Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform?

• I previously served as an admin in vBulletin and PhpBB formats, but for the past 10 years I managed a team in a global e-commerce company. I can say that I have experience in crisis management and guiding people.

Are you prepared to work at nighttime?

• I haven’t been actively working in a job for 2 years, and I can say that I’m someone who lives at night 🙂 therefore I have no limitations working either night or day.
