So as you might've noticed recently there has been a buff of the pay per post system. You now get 3000 sats for a post and 7500 sats for a topic :)

Do you think this change is too crazy and makes the pay-per-post system overpowered?

Yes definitely. It definitely makes the forums more active, but it's paying way more than it should imo. If everyone followed rules sure I don't mind, but I'm just afraid of the good nature of Stake being abused by alts/etc.

I guess I gotta report more posts now though, yay time to practice searching skills lol

I can see some abuse incoming too! Well, lets hope for the best!! :)

Is it 3k and 7.5k even? or an amount up to?

And honestly, any amount for a post is too much imo. I love the system but it is very generous, and some people feel like theyre entitled to the sats for theyre spammy comments.

I don't know if I'd say overpowered, but INSANELY generous!

Given that so few people have been able to identify not only any content they thought was really good or even their own best content see:

I was flabbergasted when I saw Dan's announcement.

The one thing I really do like however, is that the current 7,500 / 3,000 seems a better ratio for starting threads and commenting on them than the 5,000 / 1,000 ratio we had before.  So that part I really do like, maybe it will lead to better discussion rather than just the creation of a bunch of low quality threads that people don't pay attention to.

Well I didn’t expect that coming... As everyone says the more you have the better it is. xD Now some things have changed and you need longer texts in posts, topics to get paid in maximum 3-7.5k if you have a low post count.

But I think there’s something I like for those who get paid low because Stake will push them write more in their topics, posts, they will speak the english better will know that getting some money only by writting wow, nice, good, bravo or anything like this only they won’t get paid good.

About the users that don’t know very well english( grammar, vocabulary ) I suggest them use the translate for any word or any sentence. No one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, you will learn from your mistakes.

if with 1k and 5k of satoshis was already good, now will get better still. This forum stake payment system is perfect and encourages everyone to use the forum willingly, because many people bring many interesting things to the forum that help many, and deserve these gratifications a lot, I even learned a lot here in the forum.

The downside to this new system (even the old system) is lots of people make redundant threads talking about the exact same thing (see my most recent thread report 2min ago) but just reword it slightly. People are generally lazy to spend the 5 seconds it requires to do a simple search and find a similar topic already posted. I'd suggest actually punishing people who make redundant threads, e.g. +7.5k for starting new thread, -75k for starting a redundant thread. I definitely do not want to see 20 topics about (for example, the introduction of Doge).

I think there were already plenty trying to milk it even before the increase, so not sure if it would get much worse than it was due to it. Personally, don't care much for posting rewards, and mostly post when I feel like, which hasn't been too often.

The buff was to cope up with the downslide price of bitcoin and it is generousity (if there's a word) of stake to do that

Seems like a power up to me. Saving the sats here and withdraw it in the future when btc is back at its feet again

Well, 200% increase on pay per post rate is quite big but if we see at the bitcoin price right now, it's falling so hard. So i guess it's still make sense to buff the pay per post.

I think this buff are not really overpowered. You need to spent time to write some words and sentences to get that 3k sats. It was the appreciation from Stake for a person who contribute much writing at this forum. They just increased the forum rewards threshold, and the pay per post rewards still same as you write those thread or reply.

It is super buffed at the moment, not sure if I would say it's overpowered. Stake is extremely generous with these new pay-per-post value ratings. I think they will come down again once the price of bitcoin recovers, and I think it could also be used to test whether or not an increased pay-per-post value means more meaningful content posted on the forum. If it works well, I think Stake will keep it this way, but if it causes more spam, and more clean-up work for the support staff, then I think Stake will decrease it again.

Well I wouldn't say its overpowered but sure yeah its a very huge buff they did. Well I guess its because of Darkblood69 who made a post due to the drop of BTC they need to buff pay per post I guess.

Nah I don't think its overpowered. The only way to cap out the pay would be to write a thesis. Most people won't bother and would be receiving the same amounts as before the buff. But I can only imagine the amount of people who would beat around the bush and purposely articulate poorly to maximise the word count on their topics and posts.

Everyone's posts and topics are gonna be like this now lol

"Overpowered" is a little too much, but it might be a little more rewarding and so nobody would ever complain about Stake not helping people get some coins to play with. By now, everyone was so angry due to the 5 Satoshi faucet, but nobody looked at other ways they can REALLY get money from Stake, such as PPP or Challenges or even Giveaways. With the money made on PPP you can complete the Challenges and win even more :D Also, with the buffed PPP, more people will notice it and how rewarding it is and will start creating more interesting discussions. The spam will surely come and that's something that can't be avoided, maybe by limiting the daily post even more, but I don't think that it is really needed, but a more rough set of rules might be added and the ones that are warned should not be able to get the PPP for a certain period or at least be lowered to something like the old 5k - 1k or even more :)

I don't really feel the buff but if there is one and that's pretty great because the faucet is pretty low and The Forum is a good way to compensate for  faucet

Im not sure what you mean by overpowered because its not like this is some video game. This is just the generousity and kindness of the site, so saying power seems kind of out of place. Just be thankful.

no i personally dont think so because i dont get near 3000 per post or 7000 per topic. not even close. but it is a little spam attracting to say the least

Yeah, I think the same thing. I don't think it's really gonna make a change, mostly since bitcoin went down drastically. But I think it may cause a bit of trouble having people spam useless, bad content just to get more and more. *But i love the buff* *more moneyz*

Even with people's spam, they wouldn't go far away with much. The Staff always checks posts and warns members. And as far as I know from the rules of PPP, the warned members have way less income than normal and so they will only hurt themselves by spamming the forum than hurting Stake.
