Moderator Flan Posted December 29, 2018 Moderator #26 Posted December 29, 2018 Before I started this thread, I thanking for the advice and honesty from the community that was represented indirectly through @badger. This may indeed be a lot of shortcomings, and after all this is the first and longest Seasonal Challenge held by Stake. Indeed the prize is not as big as you thought at that time, and I felt that pursuing the challenge was really difficult. I know, even if I get a bonus for completing all the challenges, I also still feel that the struggle has taken a lot of my time and money. Still, I didn't regret anything for doing this challenge after I looked this thread : https://forum.stake.com/topic/17211-📢-rewards-our-plans-and-change-log-for-30112018/ In summary, they still care about old players or loyal player that always we talked about in any Stake discussion. They planned to give more rewards than this challenge, they are not ignoring your demands. This challenge was not the end, and they still planning about giving more rewards. If I catch the first @badger thread, she said like: "this is a suggestion for the next event, and reevaluate for the next. ". She was capture all of people words about that, and she drops all of it into this thread. I hope many people will understand this. Let it past and we move on, don't forget to learn past mistakes and repair it in the future. Only that.
williamshennie9 Posted December 29, 2018 #27 Posted December 29, 2018 I should also mention that the challenges are effectively free money, and they are optional, so if you saw some difficult ones, you could have just skipped those ones, and done the easy ones to get the daily prizes Thank you Stake for doing these promotions! PS. I'll give you an example of challenges I don't like - Tier challenges. I never enter them, but I also never complain about them because I appreciate the fact that Stake does promotions, so since I know I don't have the means to do tier challenges, I just sit out, and come back for the next challenges. Hopefully that offers a bit of insight

But first, for those of us who play at Stake every single day of our lives, we fully expect, after playing with a site for a year, that we should get some presents. Nothing super fancy, just a little Bitcoin. I have addressed this before, and no one ever listens, pay attention admin please... The compulsive gamblers that keep your site alive and well, we are blown away, shocked, thrilled, you name it, when any of the sites we play at forks over even 0.001 Btc. I have praised Stake in the past, more than once for its generous email bonuses, weekly challenges, prizes, and all of the awesome things Stake does for the players. Dont you realize that when Stake does things for its users, above what anyone could expect, the word of mouth cc?? for Stake is spread with you doing nothing more than giving people a tiny bit of their money back. That they will lose into Stake without withdrawing. This seems so easy. A little goes a long way is the biggest understatement ever when it comes to giving a drip back to us. Do yourselves a favor, instead of having Stakers out discussing how bad the Xmas Games were, give them what they want, an 8th of a half of a 5th of what they deposited into Stake... Something, anything, anything to make everyone happy af, as opposed to always having what a crappy Christmas "bonus" that was, grrrrr Stake. This may be redundant, and poorly written, I am super tired and unimpressed. And if I come across as an ungrateful bitch, well, you are incorrect. I know great disappointment when I see it, I dont want to see Stake being bad mouthed for what I will only assume was supposed to be good gambling fun and games for the whole month for everyone, and somehow it wasnt any of that. Dear Stake, this year for Christmas, we dont want elaborate challenges and extra games, we just want the best present we ever got when we were kids, a card from grandma that didnt need words, that when we shook it, money fell out, thats all. We are simple creatures that are too easy to please.... Can I check my email now?... Now? Maybe now.... Cc?? Badger Oh, and if you are saying to yourself, but Badger, theres a lot of users, thats grossly expensive, just dont pay any alt accounts, that will save a fortune ; ) I feel you. Those challenges were a little to obvious about the fact that stake did this as a huge PR thing and just got more profit from it. Anyways I must say we should appreciate the move. On the other site I agree on a xmas bonus of some kind... at least one of those emails!
Laura2000 Posted December 29, 2018 #30 Posted December 29, 2018 totally agree, with you, i did all the 25 events , spending a lot of money, and time, ... taking time from the family, not sleeping travelling..... and at the end.... the 15th day i forgot to put a stupid post of 300 words to Jelena, a requirement i was impossible to see in my screen, very hidden, and so far from normal requirementes.... so ... no prize... I see a lot of promotions , a lot of rains for non players, but... we? where is our Papa Noel?

It was fun to compare my goals for Stake with my hopes for life in the year ahead. I hope Papa Noel finds you soon! Maybe baby new year? Good Luck!

The main purpose of the event was supposed to be entertainment, not a burden. Seems like you were doing it for the wrong reasons. Don't blame other people for something that is clearly your fault. If we could spend our precious time thinking of original ideas and making challenges interesting for all of you, the least you could do is value that time and spend two extra minutes to read requirements entirely.
Etude Posted December 30, 2018 #33 Posted December 30, 2018 Okay.. this thread does seems to be rather fiesty and a few temper flared. I think the point Badger was trying to make is possibly better and more consistent rewards especially for High Rollers that often makes deposits which coincidentally if we look at Dan's incoming teaser of changes and updates to Stake would be paid more attention to. From a player's perspective, when you lose more than the average amount on a daily basis, would you still feel like continuing? This would eventually prompt the question to owner of casino on what can be done to keep a consistently depositing high roller from possibly leaving? On the other hand, I would fairly say that the support team of Stake has done no wrong and were just doing their jobs within their provided means from the top/owner(s?) for the celebrations plannings. Yes I agree that the rules for the challenges are rather set in stone by needing Ghost mode switched off, carefully adhering to the instructions of the challenge to not make an error but it is not an impossible task at all to follow, lol. So in summary there are 3 sides/perspectives here whereby, realistically it is impossible to make everyone happy not to mention at the end of the day, Stake is very much in it's core a gambling business. It would really depend on the what extraneous efforts and attention are given by the owner after listening to complains of customer(s) and whether the certain customer(s) is beneficial enough to keep or a troublesome one. To cut it short, I believe the disagreements mainly found in this topic are due to frustrations of us (customers/gamblers) often depositing and losing, and also expectations of what should be rewarded of especially to those who stayed the longest and gambled the largest amounts. I also want to say that the Support team has done an excellent job in handling the Advent Challenges as it takes quite the effort since it is a 25 days daily challenge where they need to check, verify the entries, prize payouts and then come up with ideas for the following days challenges too, also there were barely any noticable delays in the daily payouts of the challenges. It is definitely praiseworthy effort by the Support team! This might be abit cheesy to leave a quote at the end but its worth the food for thought for all 3 sides of Stake's players, support team and owner(s), "When the customer comes first, the customer will last." - Robert Half
nhoyasim101 Posted December 30, 2018 #34 Posted December 30, 2018 Wow this is the beauty of forum, both sides has a great word of wisdom,,,,I am amazed by badger point of view, accumulating the agony of other players who,s not contented xmass giveaways, I joined giveaways I also spend time on it, few of my entry was disqualified cuz of the ghost mode, twas my fault so it's fine w/me😊 I'm also one of those checking mails come from stake hoping something gift for thier stake enthusiast as they do previously, but I'm not expecting it coz it's just a bunos if it come then thanks if not it's fine,,seem like this,,,if you are working you are hoping for a bunos from your boss, but you have to understand that it's not compulsary, it's a vulontary,, I am satisfied with/ mod sides because I know that before those giveaways commence they all make plan, meetings, etc,,, on how to make it possible and I know it's really not easy😊 facts is it's really hard to pleased people,😮 ended we are all love stake,,,we are still here to play,,,and a thread like this only shows a real freedom of express, this why stake will going too far and becoming best crypto casino in the crypto universe 😂
williamshennie9 Posted December 30, 2018 #35 Posted December 30, 2018 I think a lot of people here are over complicating this whole thing. The bottom line is this Xmas promotion was free money. Everyone here could have sat out of the whole challenge, and their balance would have been exactly the same, you wouldn't have missed a thing. So why are all of you complaining? If you see a challenge that will cause you a lot of losses, then why did you play? You could have just sat out for that specific day. The 500k bonus was an incentive to complete all of them, to add fun into the mix. Even if you did not complete all of them, you still got daily rewards for the ones you did complete. So can we all just appreciate these promotions, instead of complain. The more complaints that Stake receives, the less promotions they will be willing to do. Think about that...

They did not do any promotions like Email giveaways due to the amount of passives and general beggars here at stake. In fact, it was a decision which had business moral in the end. I agree, there are many people here who have multiple accounts, and to send a coupon to everyone via email would unfairly benefit those who have alts. I prefer challenges, and besides, the email coupons are mostly small amounts of money compared to the challenges

Whatever it may be, i wish you luck and hopefully theyll consider your comments here. <3

And to know if a person is a true gambler or not ? Stats are not always accurate if your answering it that way they show the total wagered and not the good things the time they have stayed on the site etc. Gambling doesnt need to be rewarded any way. In real life casinos name me one casino that does these many giveaways as Stake ? Or even an online one ? Cause I am 99% sure you can't ! I am not blaming you in any way but be thankful stake is generous to giveaway this much at least cause they don't need to do so.
