Not sure about those post count limits, but couldn't you just edit one of your older ones? Assuming you already posted one earlier.

I didn't hit a higher multiplier than my team mate so I did not post on the topic any bets at all. Does this eliminate me from the competition or hold our team back in any way?

It's a team competition, so i think you are not eliminate and your team will qualify to the next round if you win.

As long as a team doesn't open a complaint with valid reasons to remove someone you won't be removed. In this situation you're clearly trying but you just couldn't get a higher multiplier so there's no reason for you to be removed.
