Bernard8400 Posted 21 hours ago #1 Posted 21 hours ago Name one football opinion that would have everyone looking at you like this: 👀🍿
phantyn Posted 18 hours ago #2 Posted 18 hours ago Lionel Messi carried Pep Guardiola, not the other way around.
Syltha8 Posted 17 hours ago #3 Posted 17 hours ago Messi made that Barcelona system work, tbh. Without him pulling defenders out of position, Pep's tiki-taka would've just been sideways passing. Bernard8400 1
umbraxen Posted 16 hours ago #4 Posted 16 hours ago Messi made that system look invincible, but Pep's City has proven he can dominate without him too.
Vaelna Posted 15 hours ago #5 Posted 15 hours ago Messi definitely elevated it, but saying Pep got carried is a stretch fr. That 2011 UCL final was a tactical masterclass before Messi even scored.
cloteon Posted 15 hours ago #6 Posted 15 hours ago Messi was the cheat code, but Pep’s the one who built the whole game around that code. Without the structure, even Messi would’ve been wasted tbh
Ravenni Posted 14 hours ago #7 Posted 14 hours ago Nah but for real, Pogba at his peak was actually world class and just got unlucky with injuries and a dysfunctional United squad
jax1oh3r Posted 13 hours ago #9 Posted 13 hours ago ngl, Messi was the magic spark, but Pep's strategy gave him that platform to shine like no other ? ?
Krissy010 Posted 12 hours ago #11 Posted 12 hours ago Simple truth Messi is currently better than Ronaldo Comparing activity in the world cup
kyrraund Posted 9 hours ago #13 Posted 9 hours ago Nah mate I once said that Serie A in the late 90s was actually a higher overall standard than the Premier League today, and my cousin literally choked on his beer. The pace was slower sure, but the tactical depth and defensive quality back then was on another planet entirely.
legacyumtia544 Posted 9 hours ago #14 Posted 9 hours ago Old Trafford nights hit differnt on Asin handicap 👀
steinurlia Posted 8 hours ago #18 Posted 8 hours ago id say the best pure finisher i ever saw was romario not messi or cr7 and the brazilan fans still talk about him like a god
kazelerra Posted 2 hours ago #19 Posted 2 hours ago PK shootouts being called a lottery always winds me up. I would back a goalkeeper with a 30% save rate over a nervous penalty taker any day of the week.
kovaanund6 Posted 2 hours ago #20 Posted 2 hours ago i got kicked out of a pub once for saying iniesta was better than zidane and the whole place went dead silent for a solid 5 seconds before the shouting started
zylenlyn Posted 2 hours ago #22 Posted 2 hours ago I think Modric edges out Xavvi and Iniesta pretty comfortably when you look at his longevity and how he controls the pace of the game. Modric hitting that Ballon d'Or level at 33 while carrying Croatia deep into tournaments puts him a notch above both of them for me.
gauzearix831 Posted 2 hours ago #23 Posted 2 hours ago Still think Busquets is the most important player Barca ever had
Havenorlia Posted 2 hours ago #24 Posted 2 hours ago pele over maradona any day and im tired of pretending the hand of god makes him the best ever. three world cups versus one with a controversial goal isnt even a debate in my eyes.
