Stake Private Messages - Thoughts?

I think it should stay, but mabey set a higher wager requirement to be able to use the private message function, like 0.2  btc or somthing, that way persons cant just make new accounts and advertise and scam wiout having to risk some money first

Just remove the feature that allows you to have a choice on weather or not someone can message you if they are a friend, and force the notion, that people may only pm someone that is on their friends list.. then if someone falls for some rubbish, they really dont have much of an excuse becuase they had them as a "Friend" Maybe add the level feature according to your wagering.. then make it so you have to be a certain level in order to send private messages or collect a faucet... so that people that have wagered can collect decent faucets and people that create new accounts can no longer ruin faucets and private messages for all that deserve them

This is just one of the few examples there are players who send messages like exchanges and other scam websites

I think a 'report' button will improve private chat a lot. Now I had to open the support chat, but all I wanted to do is to do it with a simple click...

Dont remove private messages, i have alot of friends on stake with wich i only chat in stake while we are racing  but if u remove the private messages i wont be able to chat with him anymore.... becuase he dont have discord/twitter or anything. So please keep the pm. I had like 2 times ppl sending me scam site links and im not that dumb to get scamed like this, if people really have brains they wont deposit on random site that random guy gave them

Tbh 0 good experience if you have money or the highroller symbol,everyone either will try to scam you or beg for money,I use it to chat with friend who I knew before but yeah thats mostly it .

Hi Eddie,

I would hate to lose the PM option on stake as I regularly use it to communicate with friends.  I find regular chat channels can be super spammy at times and to communicate with other players and your friends PM is the way to go.

In my opinion, instead of removing them, you should only improve them by adding a report button to each user.

Hoping Private messages can still remain.. its a big help for others.. we're all adults so think b4 u click lol besides we got our lovely support team and mods, just report any suspicious links and annoying account holders 😂

I am all aggreeing for this, if you remove your private messages on stake , you will avoid spammers, scammers,  beggars PLUS and a big one....You will boost the social medias, discord / forum / twitter / telegram.

I caan see the advantages of having it with being able to PM with "friends" but to me personally, I rarely ever use it if at all.  I honestly don't remember the last time I used a PM other than with a Mod, which we can easily do on the Forum as well.  It seems more and more that the PM are full of spam/scam messages, at least from my experience.

I think you need keep the private messaging platform on Stake. Because there are many topics that I don’t want to discuss publicly. It’s private that I can only trust my friends.

I don’t think it’s worth closing it, if a person with a head on his shoulders he never makes a mistake, very often there are good projects, just a person attracts referrals. Sometimes they write such nonsense that they make me laugh a little, which raises my mood for the whole day. In general, if a person advertised the site as a swindler and people suffered from him and complained, then you can simply ban the account, or give the opportunity to advertise or send messages only to people with experience on the site and a positive reputation.
