Is Litecoin Better Than Bitcoin?

Yeah. I think Litecoin is better to make transactions than Bitcoin.

Fees are very low and transactions receive super fast. Only Litecoin prize make it bad currency

Bitcoin is a powerful crypto currency and I think but litecoin transactions better from bitcoin and litecoin transactions fee very low that's why I think litecoin better but value wise bitcoin best

To me, bitcoin will always be the king/queen... And although that Litecoin currency has been here from the beginning, much of its strength is that it has a body and face and that they promote it personally.  I am not btc maximalist, but I would never change my btc to ltc, instead I will have both btc and ltc and I did change some ltc to btc.  My opinion.

Bitcoin is easier to get bitcoin's market cap is over $160 billion, while Litecoin's is under $5 billion. but litecoin fees is less than bitcoin and its transaction speed is faster,

Agree with your comments. All altcoin depends on Bitcoin. I believe that if Bitcoin dies, the cryptocurrency market will disappear as well. so no altcoin will be better than Bitcoin

Well to me in terms of value when comparing Bitcoin to Litecoin it is a resounding no in regards whether is Lotecoin better than Bitcoin. Even so Litecoin has a few advantages over Bitcoin due to its cheap transaction fees.

that's a stupid question I've ever seen. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency. If Litecoin is really better than Bitcoin, then Litecoin is definitely at number one

when it comes to value ofc not., but when it comes to hold for a market value yes.. and to play on stake yes.. other then that btc is still better.. but if you thinking in mining it then it should be a great investment. because there shouldn't be that much competition for it.. but no one can tell if ltc will go above bch..

in reality it almost feels like that ANY other altcoin  is better than bitcoin as it all started from bitcoin as a rough draft kinda thing =D a lot has ben learned from btc blockchain  so new better ones are ez pz better...

but yeah ltc i would say functionally is better

I don't see any advantages of Litecoin comparable to the advantages of Bitcoin. If you compare ETH and Bitcoin, there will be more to discuss. But anyway LTC is a coin worth investing

I love LTC's fast transaction speeds but I'd never consider it better then BTC because BTC is the pioneer. The first. It's just hard to beat even with all of it's downfalls.

Как по мне, так лайткоин вполне себе достойная криптовалюта, которая хорошо держится на рынке!
За 2-3 последних месяца - можно было сделать неплохие Х только на ней, кто торгует на биржах!
Плюсом добавьте её халвинг и цена скоро отрастет, чем обрадует держателей этой монеты!
Но всё равно биткоин это основа всему и его доминация на рынке подтверждает мои слова!
Многие ждут альт-сезон, но он будет только для основной альты и не более!
Лайткоин я бы держал на своём кошельке!

I would not be in a hurry to sell bitcoin and pour it into a lightcoin, since its price is not stable, then the lightcoin will jump above 100 dollars, then it will drop.
It seems that the price is greatly manipulated and sheared young hamsters. Perhaps the coin will roll back to $ 60 in the future. It is better to hold and buy bitcoin, as it is much more stable than all existing altcoins.

Alts like litecoin are great until they are not. Of course they have cheaper transaction fees, because there's no point even existing if your transaction speed and fees are higher than btc. If you don't mind the increased risk and volatility it's fine but I don't see any particular reason to hold any for the long long term.

Well my opinion is Litecoin is not really good or better than bitcoin. because as you can see the prices of Bitcoin was too far from LTC. and also BTC is more familiar to ordinary people who dont know about Crypto yet.

Because of its mean use cause of being a store of value, i whole heartedly like $BTC more, Litecoin has its own unique use cause too, but i really do not fancy the coin, $BTC all the WAY!!!

Litecoin is a cryptocurrency similar to Bitcoin. In it, you can make almost instant transfers around the world and with low commissions. In fact, Litecoin was one of the first branches of Bitcoin. Charlie Lee, its creator, used to work for Google, and, taking up cryptocurrencies, created Litecoin.

Litecoin miners also tried to block this update, but eventually gave up. This update is called Segwit. It can double network bandwidth. Now Segwit is activated in Litecoin, but not in Bitcoin.

Throughput in Litecoin was already four times higher than in Bitcoin, and with Segwit activation the difference will be 8 times or more. Now not many people use Litecoin, so this is only theoretically so far. Bitcoin, unlike Litecoin, is one of the few cryptocurrencies that are actually used. However, Litecoin is slightly faster than Bitcoin, since the first blocks are created, on average, every 2.5 minutes, and the second - every 10 minutes.

Let's compare these two cryptocurrencies in several ways.

Buying bitcoins is much easier than any other cryptocurrency. Any cryptocurrency exchange works with it. Most of them support Litecoin, but not all. The main problem with LTC is that these coins are very difficult to purchase for regular money. LocalBitcoins, BitQuick and Wall of Coins are the largest exchanges where you can buy Bitcoin for cash, and none of them work with Litecoin. Bitcoin is available in more markets and is considered the reserve currency of the cryptocurrency world. This is the most sustainable coin. Litecoin can be considered a fairly stable cryptocurrency, although it is still very far from Bitcoin.

It should be noted that Bitcoin markets are much larger, and even large transactions do not significantly affect the price. There are also over-the-counter exchanges where Bitcoin is traded. LTC is also traded there, although it is not so popular.

I almost at this point think litecoin is better then bitcoin because of the volatility of bitcoins price.

From an investment standpoint it really makes LTC the way to go.

Litecoin is like the child of Bitcoin lol. Similar applications, just a difference in translation volume and fees. Still that wouldn't matter, if the prices of both of them were same. However, it feels good to have some litecoin, because you can feel rich by having so many of them which you can't afford (neither can I) with so much bitcoins lol
