Kargai Posted November 30, 2017 #15 Posted November 30, 2017 For me, minimum tip need to stay the same to avoid faucet farming & other abuses (you will be the first ones to cry if we have to limit again the faucet because of that). But maybe a rain possiblity where you could split 10k between multiple users could be a nice add-on Like that we still have a decent barrier to 10k for the farmers but when you reach the amount you can send it to 1, 2, 4, 5, 8 or 10 people (for example)

Until the BTC will be 100k USD and 10k satoshis will be 10$, it shouldn't be lowered. For real, who would want less than 1$ tip? I mean... It's so low, especially in BTC. You can't do much with 10k, you can get this amount of BTC even with the free faucet. So... no... I disagree. I'm totally against it.

This is always a challenge and it sucks that people will abuse whatever the site does. I actually thought 10K was fine, but BTC has gone way up more than I would have expected. The tip does feel special because its a higher amount, lowering the tip would make tips less important.

I agree but I can tell that streamers are facing a hard time with the current btc price and having to decrease (by a lot) the number of giveaways they do in their streams.. maybe decreasing it to 5k instead would allow them to run more giveaways and tip more people with the same amount? About the 1k tip, I also don't agree with that.
