Mahdirakib87 Posted October 26, 2019 #1 Posted October 26, 2019 We fall in depression in our life for some reasons. Being depressed we take many bad decision. Some people do drink/smoke. But do you gamble when you feel depressed? I do it sometimes. I actually try to forget my problem by concentrating on game.
barbaris Posted October 26, 2019 #2 Posted October 26, 2019 I think the combination of depression and gambling is a bad combination that can ruin you and only increase your depression. But it is unlikely to improve the condition.
cukup2 Posted October 26, 2019 #3 Posted October 26, 2019 sometimes I feel under pressure in gambling when I use the balance of the results of the loan then it will make me depressed in playing and the fear of defeat is higher, and when experiencing defeat then I will feel depresion
dkpiiit953 Posted October 26, 2019 #4 Posted October 26, 2019 It depends on the mentality of people, personally since I did gambling I even stop smoking so that's good, but it's true that for 95% of people, gambling makes people let go, in misfortune having bad thoughts, making a bad decision and who can not control this ... Apart from telling them to stop we can do nothing more .. Only they can react, it's sad but it's only a reality ... Pay attention to yourself, your loved ones and your health, and play with fun gl all
FotisNt Posted October 26, 2019 #5 Posted October 26, 2019 Wouldn't say you could say you're depressed by your own self and not be diagnosed by doctors.
Ali saher Posted October 26, 2019 #6 Posted October 26, 2019 I think when you feel depressed then you not play gambling because because your mind not work perfect and you not take good decision and the end you lose your funds, I alway try when I feel good and fresh then I play gambling because some time I feel not good and I play but mostly results very bad
niki014 Posted October 26, 2019 #7 Posted October 26, 2019 hmmm if u are depressed that dosnt mean you will make bad decisions i was make more dumb shit when i was like 15-16 and i wasnt as depressed now i dont make so much dumb shit cuz i see no point in doing it in the end it is the same but sometimes when i gamble i am so into the game that i forget how sad i am if it makes any sense haha so i do gamble ( but i was gambling even before )
wyj1306 Posted October 26, 2019 #8 Posted October 26, 2019 I've always been a very happy person, so I've never had problems with depression, but I've met a lot of people who had it for a variety of reasons, and I think that depending on someone's personal mindset the game can cause hi to worsen the situation as it's something that can work with. our psychological.
zulfandina Posted October 26, 2019 #9 Posted October 26, 2019 when depressed by various problems in real life I actually avoid gambling. because basically there are some people who are unlucky in one problem and he is unlucky with everything he does. and I am that type of person. if I'm in a state of distress, I choose to relax and look for entertainment outside the home, find food or go to the fub to calm down while listening to music and watching women dancing.
sheenazbay Posted October 27, 2019 #10 Posted October 27, 2019 there is no problem or there is a problem, I keep gambling and always gamble, the problem does not affect me to stop gambling, I always gamble every day, whether it's gambling online or in casino real estate
SLFJ Posted October 27, 2019 #11 Posted October 27, 2019 I mean - it's better not to gamble if you're feeling depressed, but I'm a no one to tell you and command you what to do or what not to do, just a friendly tip that could save you coins or funds that you might've lost.
Sumedang Posted October 27, 2019 #12 Posted October 27, 2019 I think I sometimes do it but I am more hearty because as our depression is more difficult to control ourselves and do not let us make mistakes and even become increasingly depressed.

You may not only want to tell or want to order what to do when the depression is engulfing a gambler, but what you say must be the way it is. due to the fact that more than 90% of gamblers actually feel loss and destruction when they are depressed and then make a bet.
wngo123 Posted January 1, 2020 #14 Posted January 1, 2020 yes I do feel depressed from gambling very often and it always happens when I lose big amount. But I try to fight this by focusing on something else, never on rebuilding my balance and chasing the loses because that is the worst thing we can do. I do something else , that has completely nothing to do with gambling, and then come back with the new plan.
sahil777 Posted January 1, 2020 #15 Posted January 1, 2020 no i cant do gamble when i have some problems in my real life gambling needs total relaxed mind and focus and you cant win anything when you are in depression, it will cause more loss and means more depression.
Aazzah Posted January 1, 2020 #16 Posted January 1, 2020 Hey... No. I do not gamble when depressed. I feel like it only makes it worse. When I am upset, i tend to go talk with my friends about it. Or, just play a few games on steam and xbox. I think gambling makes it worse.
Ayesha0770 Posted January 2, 2020 #17 Posted January 2, 2020 People will have an issue of depression if they take it to heart even a small matter, remember every problem has an option to be solve and every decision should be comprised before doing it dont rush or decide quickly if you know your doing a 50/50 method and as for the gambling why would you be depress if you know playing in casino is too risky am I right?
Dp10011 Posted January 2, 2020 #18 Posted January 2, 2020 I never really did that. In mine it is just the opposite. Because I get depressed after I play, usually when I lose a lot in betting. But in both cases it is a delicate situation. The game cannot and should not cause us to. It is no longer just fun and is a short way to addiction and other disorders. Very careful! Good luck stakers!
Nicol3 Posted January 2, 2020 #19 Posted January 2, 2020 To be clear about this thread, as for me, we do have to take into consideration as to how a person perceive "DEPRESSION" or in other simpler terms could be as to how a person define it. To make this a little bit easier, if I may sound confusing, you just gotta answer a question by yourself and this question is as easy as this. WHen you said about depression, do you mean you are feeling extreme sadness and so you then used depression to describe your feelings? Or Do you say you are depressed because you have been assessed and diagnosed by your doctor to be suffering from such disorder? Alright after being able to answer this question, it would now be easier for me to comment on your post. I simply did this because I look at "depression" as something sensitive and requires a more meticulous and careful understanding before dealing with things related to it. Most people feel sad or depressed at times. It’s a normal reaction to loss or life's struggles. But when intense sadness -- including feeling helpless, hopeless, and worthless -- lasts for many days to weeks and keeps you from living your life, it may be something more than sadness. You could have clinical depression -- a treatable medical condition. How do you know then if you are really depressed or undergoing clinical depressopn? Well, according to researches, you have depression when you have five or more of these symptoms for at least 2 weeks: A depressed mood during most of the day, especially in the morning You feel tired or have a lack of energy almost every day. You feel worthless or guilty almost every day. You have a hard time focusing, remembering details, and making decisions. You can’t sleep or you sleep too much almost every day. You have almost no interest or pleasure in many activities nearly every day. You think often about death or suicide (not just a fear of death). You feel restless or slowed down. You’ve lost or gained weight. Now, with regard to your deperession in relation to your online gambling, If I may suggest not to play when youfeel depressed as it is always better to gamble with a fresh mind state and no feeling of depression or extreme sadness nor should you gamble for the purpose of chasing all the money you have lost on a casino. In simple words, everything should be a fresh start before you gamble. It is a very high probability of being unable to focus on your game play if you are depressed and preoccupied. I hope this helps! Please always stay safe and enjoy 2020 and may it bring you abundance in life and more winnings here at Stake, Cheers; NiCOL3
Etude Posted January 23, 2020 #20 Posted January 23, 2020 I feel that depression and gambling do not go well when it happens together at all given that we will tend to make poorer decisions during being in the state of depression and having poor decisions made during gambling is all basically just throwing money away.

To tell you the truth, we all try to distract ourselves when we're depressed
SniperHawk Posted November 9, 2020 #23 Posted November 9, 2020 Will normally as human being where ups and down is a part of our life then when times come up that we felt so down then we also normally felt depression and when I got that moment, will definitely I will make any gamble on that time since it's really hard to focus during that time.
Tetsuya Posted November 16, 2020 #24 Posted November 16, 2020 I think people who get depressed is those who let their greed take over themselves. I mean like increasing the bet even tho you only had small balance chasing to get the multis but end up busting
RA1D2DAPA Posted November 16, 2020 #25 Posted November 16, 2020 wish to have free rehab to gambler's for vip hahahaha xd
