It seems to me the classic blackjack is more active. But this is just my opinion.

I completely agree that we should have side bets because that would make blackjhack that much more intersting, but to add it to the code will not be difficult. They already have it all coded in, they just need to add the side bet option which shouldnt take that long. Hope you have a great day !

The only issue I think that they might get is that there is an unlimited deck in blackjack, perhaps making things like a flush more common. For example, in a live casino blackjack game they might use 3 hands. If you are ok the first bet and 8 hearts are pulled on the table, this means that it is less likely for a heart to be pulled again and another suit is more likely. They will have to calculate the odds of everything and make sure that the house will always have the advantage, which may take a lot of time and effort.

evet Posted March 7, 2020 #10 Posted March 7, 2020 Blackjack is pretty straight forward game, I like it as it is. I don't need side bets for this game. I think it would be abusive on our part if sidebets are added. It will give us edge and more chance of winning.

It won't compel bettors to bet on it anyway and since a lot of people have been requesting to have it, it will be a good cherry on top. One thing that might matter here that makes the Stake team not to add it is the usage of infinite number of bets. With that, it'll render the chances of forming Pair, Straight, Flush or Straight Flush with a higher frequency of occurrence than what it could have been if a dealer is just using limited number of decks.

This is the number one reason why Stake won't add it. The edge will drop significantly low enough for players to dig on it and grab a higher chance of going over the house edge. 😁
