New $10000 daily race

After the mega race today, we now have a $10,000 daily race on Stake. However, PrimeDice still only have a $1000 24 hour race, meaning that the rewards for the Stake one are 10 times larger. This might have 2 effects on both sites. Maybe, it shows how stake are becoming more popular and they want to transfer players over from Prime Dice, to focus on Stake and develop it further in the future. Or, they are allowing some of the highroller prime dice players to come over to stake, to make the primedice race less competitive and enable the smaller players to get prizes.

So, what do you guys think of the $10,000 24 hour race? Are you going to take part in it, and what is your strategy going to be?

It was created so people will have something to do while in lockdown if they are in affected areas due to the covid-19 virus going around the world.

I think it is a perfect time on their part to do it and good timing on their part to test out how a 24 hour race would do instead of having two races per day for smaller prizes.

I think that it is a perfect time tom implement this too. I don't have a clue what the total wager of the winner is going to be, but I can imagine that it is going to be huge. Hopefully, many people can benefit from this race if they leave auto bet on for 24 hours

This is a good step for site promotion, but might gonna change the race statistics now, we might see big players much active in the last minutes of 10K race and they might do this daily and taking all the winnings.  Lets see what happens after this first day.  I wish good luck to whoever participate to win, I don't there are chances for players like me, now it seems a big player's game for that reward.

Yeah I am not sure how it will work. On PrimeDice, people are a lot more passive with the way that they bet. I have a feeling that in the last hour on stake, a whale is going to come along and do 0.1 BTC bets on dice on 1.01x and win it. 

We will have to wait and see though

For me it could be a 100k one that still wouldn't make a difference. I don't participate in any of them.
But that should be part of the stake's marketing in actually attracting the big players who like to compete for high prizes.
Not bad for this initiative and very good for those who participate!

I think that essentially nothing will change people with big balances will win, and for ordinary players it will be even more difficult to get into this list of winners. For me, participation in races only led to a loss of balance and I did not see any benefit.

For sure, stake clicked more than primedice because of the variety of games. There are even some who doesn't play dice at all. It makes sense for them to make stake more active with such events since there are increasing number of players at stake.

Day by day stake more popular online casino and so many new users join stake for gambling. I think for everyone not good 24 hours race because every one have not so much time to give so much time to gambling. But I think this is good for stake .

24 hours race? Come on. Too long. Reason I hate racing is the time. I am of the 100m than the 40000 M. It is boring and not interesting. It doesn't make sense too. Some of us don't have the capacity or the time to race for 24 hours no matter the lockdown. We all have our respectives lives no matter the Covid 19 virus. 

I prefer the 2 hours race over the 24 hours race by far.

And for sure Stake is bigger than PD 100x. And that is the fact.

A lot of other places are doing this already. Some an all day thing, some every hour. We definitely can tell we are growing exponentially due to the decrease in some rewards that are earned. Slowly we are seeing what we love about this site go away and watch as the big money men come in and try to generate more profit then testing to focus on the product you were once passionate about.  Remember, change is the only constant!

I don´t know, by letting all those whales the availability to game all day long will make this races, if not to win at least be part of the 50 winning board very very hard.  I was always willing to be present in every single 120 minutes races, and once in a while I took a good places but in this new format, to beat those giant whales is going to be hard.  Assuming that this, as all of us were told, new 24 races are only due the Covid 19, I guess is ok, so everybody will have  good reason to stay close from the computer, this means away from a safe site, and because of this I agree in this feature.  As always, I will try to be part on every single event that Stake promotes because from my own experience, every feature gives value added to site and to gambling.  Good luck.

Very big prize, but Eddie seems to deliberately make a big prize only in stake because the number of players who are very large and active every day here is more than primedice so that the stake is more favored and also the stake consists of many games that make it more interesting.

I believe you're right @Thepug. The main purpose of this is to persuade all PD fanatics to finally decide to transfer to Stake. I haven't been so active at PD due to the fact that I am not a dice fan no more when I was introduced toother games especially Keno. Cheers! 😁

I really don't prefer the long races. In fact work isn't closed here yet so I'd only have a few hours in the race. Also, like any other race the ending hours and minutes will be the most interesting and pretty fast. From what I can see right now is that, the wager is already huge and coming top 100 seems way too difficult already and in the last moments of the race you can easily get kicked out if you aren't awake or monitoring it. 

So not really my type of race. But it's still a nice move and change for stake - at least during these times. But I really hope it does come back to normal since, the sprints are much more interesting than longer ones

great start though eddie said, its because less sports betting now a days, because most of the sports matches are postponed due to coroana virus, dont know if it will be permanent or temp, but this is fun and more energetic for players and also more profitable for site.

There is absolutely no chance I would ever take part of such race. There are days when I play a lot and wager much but I would have no chance to do it almost all the time, first I don't have such bankroll, second I have life beside stake to take care off even in time of coronavirus  Third , it's so so hard to even reach first 100 place.

The reload isn't worth really that much unless you bet bold, extravagant and constant within the time intervals. I have noticed that as you bet more and make yourself more active over time in the site, the amount adjusts higher accordingly. Also, it is true that as you try to save it, the value that it gives also decreases over time.

PrimeDice, honestly, has already its own prestige and reputation to prove while Stake is still building itsewlf up even after all these months of grand promotions and giveaways. PrimeDice alone has already made its own name and despite the fact that the race amount is different from the other, whales and veteran alike still prefer the grandfather site. I'll just let it be for the time being if I am the one who will be asked.
