Most Hits Will Give You 10, J,Q,K

Did anybody notice the same way as I have always been experiencing when playing BlackJack. During the times, I would do a Hit where I needed let's say 7,8 or maybe 9 would always give me a 10, J,Q, K which is very annoying because it gives me nothing but a loss. I would always end up accumulating a total exceeding the 21 perfect score. I know it's purely random but why the f**k is it that all my hits give me those numbers? It so much helpful when my initial cardr has a total of 11 or let's say 10 which is still a good card. But it is not always that my initial cards will total 10 or 11. Most of the time a total of let's say 14 or 15 or 16 which I would need to do a hit of course. It is also one reason why sometimes even of my initisal card will give me a total of 16 I just do a Stand because I know if I choose to Hit I will just get 10, J, Q or K which will then make no sense and will just give me no chance to fight the dealer instead of fighting with 16. Got my point? Does anyone of you guys who loves BlackJack experience this awkward phenomenon, Or is it just me?

Statistically, 10-point valued cards are the most prominent value card that will appear in an infinite number of card shuffles (which is what the game on site is using) which is about ~31% of the time so it is a given that you will more likely to get them as a hit. Just adhere to the basic strategy (pinned thread) and just manipulate your betting style to win instead of pushing your luck. Adhering to the basic strategy will give you the ideal house edge than any other method you know or just relying on luck.

As @Aiza824 said, the chances of getting a 10 valued card is higher than any other card (30.77%). You can use it as a weapon too. If you are almost certain that the next card would probably be a 10 valued card and your hand would reach 18/19/20/21, you can double the bet. Which, if won, would recover previous losses or continue to give profits.

You also gotta realize the deck is unlimited, it's not capped like your typical casino.  So the possibility of a million 10 value cards in this place is possible.  Just gotta take the good with the bad.

Do not rely on luck on this game too much. Always go with the basic blackjack strategy. Always remind yourself that getting face cards and tens are much often than the others. You also have unlimited number of decks to consider on every card so trying to use your past results on the new ones will not work.

I agree wirh the OP but What's even more frustrating is when the dealer has a 6 showing. I double down with my 7 2 and get a 3 (12) dealer flips a 5 (11 for dealer now I'm screwed) dealer hits and gets a 4 (15 he's gotta hit i got this!) Dealer hits and gets a deuce to make 17 I lose. This halpens all the time but this is increddibly rare at land based casinos I still enjoy the Black Jack for couple big bets when im up a good amount. 😊

GL everyone!

Yep but in most rolls 10 , J ,Q, K is very helpful when you get single digit number total card. When i have 7-9 initial total hand i mostly double and get 10 . i seldom hit when i get 4-16 cause everytime i do i get 10.

Online blackjack has these things. As we do not know how many decks this game here is complicated to trust the cards.
This also happens to me. There is always a letter of value 10 to disrupt my plans. It seems purposeful. Something that rarely happens to a dealer!

Yeah same happens here. Whenever I double down a 10 or 11 I don't pull a 10 but when I hit on a 12 or above I get a 10. Just a coincidence I guess...

thats why i always like to use skip option, i dont want to waste those high or low cards, when ever i got medium card i use skip and with next big number i go for opposite, it usually help alot.

As you mentioned yourself, these are the 4 cards with a value of 10. Also since this is an unlimited deck, it is likely that you find these even if you opponent and you have one of these cards. So it is usual to expect a 10.

However, when you are holding cards with a value of 15, it is roughly a 50% chance of busting and 50% chance of being safe after hitting. Meaning the K,Q,J,10,9,8,7 will make you bust whereas the others will give you a 21 or lower. From my experience I would fearlessly hit on a 15, especially if the dealer is holding a card of 7 or higher, since he is most likely to win.

Moreover, like others have said too, you could stick to the basic strategy and use the charts to play. Then once you get used to it, you can change it up to your own strategy which suits you and your balance.

Lol She is talking about BlackJack not Hilo. You didn't read the topic content at all. Lol

Bank to the topic. I am always sceptical because of this also. Its all very very funny that it will give a KJQ when you have a 16, almost 80% of the time. I don't even know how people gain on this game. It is annoying to me most times. Like, who plays Blackjack. Unless if you want to go martingale which is dangerous.

I stand even when strategy tells me not to. There’s no dispersion so why bother to try to make a better hand when you 14-16? There are only 5 cards youre going to stand with after you hit one of those numbers. For 14 it’s: 34567, for 15 it’s 23456 and for 16 it’s A2345. 38.4% chance of that happening.

Stake’s version of blackjack is almost where you hit anything 14 and below and stand 15 and above no matter what the dealer is showing. Just for the pure odds of staying in the hand before busting. As much as I love stake, I have a love/hate relationship with their blackjack. It’s unnatural to not have a shoe of cards. The concept of the game is the same but is nothing like an offline casino version. Prvbly fair doesn’t really count for much when it is such a different flow of the game than what you would normally be used to.
