A week later, and still no reply not even from Eddie’s telegram. This goes to show you how much Stake really does care about their players and integrity. PLEASE bump this post and share it as much as possible!!! Only we the people can get this action corrected.

@oboedI saw your messages on Twitter and couldn’t help but to reply to this. It took me about 30 seconds to find the exact details within the TOS………

—-

The following also applies to the Cashout feature:

Cashout may not be available on certain markets and events.

Stake will not be responsible in the event that Cashout is unavailable due to technical issues. Any bets will be settled as normal based on the final result.

—-

Having scrolled through your Twitter and various other posts it’s clear that you are an experienced player, so it’s surprising  that you decided to cry so hard about something that’s literally within the sportsbook terms. If you don’t like or accept the terms, don’t play at the site. Simple.

You will probably reply to this with how it’s such a ‘coincidence’ that you couldn’t cash out, and how it’s so ‘unfair and unjust’. Again, it’s within the TOS - this is the answer to anything further you have to say. Everything response you have is covered with those two points.

The way you are crying about this in every possible place trying to get traction is a little bit embarrassing.

Pick your lip up off the floor, suck it up, and move on.

What motivated you to create an account to defend a gambling company?

OP lost the opportunity to cash out a bet for over an hour. A cash out that would have been worth $60,000+. What is it that you've lost by him seeking information from stake and raising awareness of their response through his social media?

An important note here for anybody just reading this, but @oboed isn't asking for money from stake. He just wants some customer service - an explanation of what happened and why, and what stake are doing to prevent this from happening in the future - information that most companies would offer if they want to keep existing customers and attract new ones.

I posted this to my social medias in hopes that this could reach a larger audience but was told by multiple people to post here hoping for a resolution or proper response from Stakes administration.

For context I am posting my betslip below and this is the slip that I am referring to.

@Bojana    give this man some stake transparency

He wants some customer service? Easy. Scroll to the bottom of the site and read the terms.

That’s it. No other or any further explanation is required.

Or how about…..

A dog ate the cable and it dropped the feed for one of the games thus eliminating the cashout function.

Would this make you happy?

I have to agree with @crybabies101here.  There is nothing more stake has to/can do for u here.
If its that clearly stated in the terms of service, thats the rule. I also dont think u will find any other sportsbook out there, that tells u "oh sure we pay u out 5 figures bc our provider had a fuckup". If u find one of those, pls tell me.

I def feel with u tho, 90+7. goal is super unfortunate. And i believe u that u wouldve cashed it out, esp after the 2-3 was scored late. But the karma will hopefully come back to u soon. Additionally parlays suck - stick to singles 😁

Seems pretty obvious he's trying to get paid here.  He already got his explanation, he just didn't like it.

It sucks coming really close to a huge score and then missing, but nobody is entitled to a cash out offer.  Even if you really really want one and then don't get one.  He made a bet.  The bet lost.

Nothing new. Sports provider sucks like hell. We even got limited markets. I still remember the last time stake twitter said BAD BEAT when in the first place that bettor want to cashout so badly but they didn't offer it even the markets are up. It was hilarious to the point that they said it bad beat. 😂😂

Stake offer a dogwater betting experience and are proud of it. They don't need the business, so anybody with any sense should take their money elsewhere if they value better odds, more markets, greater consistency in uptime and early cashouts.

If you enjoy the Balkan interpretation of customer service and paying more for less, Stake is THE place to be.

Got it 👍

If anybody has issue with that - don't worry - a clown car will arrive shortly and some unofficial spokesmen will jump out to explain why you're wrong.

Do you want me to point to you like 100 other things in their ToS that are shady or obscurely written? Lol. You point to their ToS like it’s written in stone and everything on their is 100% correct and stand up rules. It’s not.

I’m glad you observed that I am an experienced player and I’ve been around the block. I just lost on a really bad beat not that long ago that would have been a payout of over 500k and I didn’t even care about that. But with that being said, I’ve played at MULTIPLE books including Land books, bookies, and crypto casinos. And I have never seen such a blatant error on their end that was completely brushed under the rug. Like jungle said, what’s your motivation to come here and defend them? Do they line your pockets? Don’t think so. On top of that, you think this is acceptable business practices for a billion dollar corporation? DK and FD are so much smaller compared to Stake and they even own up to their mistakes and errors (with few of them ever occurring) posting this story I’ve heard 100x more shady stake stories than I’ve heard in the past. I’ve been a loyal user for 2 years now and I’ve NEVER had an issue with Stake truthfully.

you’re right though. If I don’t like it don’t play here and I WONT. I have no issues with their casino side that I will gladly continue to use but as for sports Bets? Absolutely not. The only person who’s said it’s embarrassing is you lol. And it’s always who cares or no big deal till your on the receiving end of this and then your name will actually suit you well.

Why do you feel entitled to shit ? As a business they owe you nothing . Shit happens , while you’re at it take that pos Ms cocksucker and gtfo stake .

It’s been a week and all I wanted was for stakes players to be aware of this. It’s been more than clear since day 1 they’re not paying me anything.

how about you go fuck yourself and stick to the Penny slots where you belong?

Summed it up perfectly for all these fucking inbreeds on here. It’s comical seeing all of the people coming to suck off daddy Stake here lol.

I feel for you, but this is my take -

You cant expect stake to give u a cashout offer when they dont know whats happening in the game - aka - live odds being down due to whatever reason

Now do u think that was deliberate from stake /odd provider?

If this was a few years ago it could have been , but right now stake is simply too big to do that for a 100k win, thats bet every hour on HR feed.

Its simply, bad bad luck, a 96th min goal as well as this odds issur causing you to walk away with 0 instead of thousands.

I would be very sad, angry and frustrated too. But i have seen this happen before and there is no chance u will get anything from that betslip now.

Sorry mate ,gl on next

See. This is a response I can respect and understand. And Ofcourse I do no think it was someone flipping a switch or like dickhead above said “the dog chewed the cord”. I’m not retarded. But it doesn’t take a genius to recognize and that a billion dollar casino and sports book should not be “losing connection” during matches that previously reporting flawless and if they do it certainly shouldn’t be on the users fault which is how they make it seem when they point to their TOS. It really sucks and is unfortunate but @jungle has said the same thing. If we spent hundreds of thousands on a book who simply can’t throw their hands up and say the fucked up or what they will do to fix this from happening in the future. Then what are we doing? Truthfully. Stake brags about their transparency, their experience and all of this is missing the mark on it. But I appreciate the sympathy.

Not flexing it, just shows that I actually play and I’m not some bronze 16 year old that we know floods the sites and chat rooms. As for you sounds like your some bald, broke and lonely 40 year old. Go back to your little train wreck streams and begging for giveaway wins.

If the cashout wasnt available, move on dude.

You bet on that team, right? you dont know if you would even have cashed seeing that the 6th goal was scored late on added time.

Who hasnt had the cashout unavailable when they needed it most (Ddos attacks, technical issues or just markets unavailable)? Most of us, and what? just move on.

Not trying to offend you but your complaint is ridiculous.

Although it's clear that the sportsbook from Stake might be one of the poorest out there, I think you can't complaint on an issue regarding the "cash-out" feature.

Good luck.

No offenses taken. But I would like to see when DraftKings , Fanduel, BetMGM or any other REPUTABLE sportsbook has any of the issues you described on a consistent basis from multiple users.

Best to keep in mind those reputable books have a reputable license.

Don't play at a Curacao based casino if you don't want issues.

Obviously you may be Canadian but if you're American you have even less of a foot to stand on.

Still, back to the point, Stake's shady license means they can do anything they like without much backfire, whether that be pulling the plug on a cash out option or ropy as hell giveaways.

Again … your assumptions have led you to this shit show of a post. I just don’t give a fuck . Fuck stake and fuck you . You’re legit just a bitch . You’re a pussy … you’re soft . Your 179 dollar bet in your mind is some high roller shit ? Lol get lost bozo

Mexican but have been to the states for business and family a countless number of times. But again, they boast about their licensing and how they’re so reputable and the #1 crypto casino. So I shouldn’t have to worry about bullshit like disconnections or wonky errors that could cost me 6 figures. At the end of the day I’ve moved on from the money, but haven’t from the principle of the situation.

Wish I knew it was this bad before I went ahead and spent thousands. Though I’ve cashed out thousands still would have been good to know.

Nothing to boast about, their license is as shaky as they come and they know that better than anyone. Completely understand your perspective on this issue and would feel aggrieved too but it's an important reminder of how unreliable Stake is and how much risk there is in comparison to a book with a legitimate license. Same goes for other crypto casinos but Stake has a certain level of arrogance over the others, they seem to think they're untouchable.

Incredible man… I mean literally. I appreciate you understanding my point though. Definitely will reconsider where my SPORTS wagers are in the future. Again besides the book I’m totally satisfied with the site and my experience on there for the past 2 years.
