Do you guys ever feel like you are done with stake cause it is so exhausting?

Every depo is a rip , monthly goes down a lot! Weekly not even relevant anymore. Twitter ? Cant win ! Discord? Cant win! Slots ? Cant win ! Originals ? Cant win !

It feels like you are doing so much , spending so much money, and stake just dont give a shit.

When i See people getting these Mails im glad for them. But losing 5k this month and getting Emails like "stay in chat for your chance to catch the rain" feels like they making fun of me.

Anyways gg to you and the Mail stuff!

Yes 100%. It's exhausting, time consuming and expensive. This year has been an absolute nightmare. Haven't had a single winning day. Lose 15 hands in a row of stake original blackjack routinely. Go 500-1000 spins without a bonus. And when I do get a bonus, it's awful. I'm convinced they've manipulated the games to fund kick.com and pay for the dozens of streamers they sponsor. It's really disgusting and I'm infuriated. Wish there was something we can do as players to hold them accountable but they're above the law.

Don’t think you’ll get much sympathy on this one, most people didn’t get any of this free money - in fact, it’s their money being handed out.

What I want to comment on is the last line, which is hilarious to me - “Turn this $20 into a life-changing amount!” Hahahahaha. Stake only wants to ruin lives, their business model depends on it.

Their marketing is so disgusting and that last sentence is obnoxious. 16% of all suicides are a result of gambling loss/addiction (up from 5% from 2018). Would be interesting to see how many lives Eddie and the boys are responsible for actually ruining. And I know people will defend them saying its the player's fault. But when you advertise like they do (especially with streamers) and manipulate the games, the blame is definitely on them as well.

Yeah I can't wait to open twitter tomorrow and see another sponsored streamer win a 5 real vs on wanted... lol

Some of you may have noticed this already, but i am a pretty critical user and also consistent in my actions. you can read about it in other topics here.

The statement that Eddie and his team are responsible for various suicides, I think that is absolutely wrong.

At the end of the day, everyone is responsible for their own actions. Nobody is forced to risk and gamble his money in a casino - and I mean ALL of them.

Every year there are thousands of deaths due to excessive alcohol consumption. Name me one saleswoman at the cash register who has actively asked you about your consumption and who has said to you: Listen, Eddie... don't you think you're drinking a little too much alcohol?

I don't think that's ever happened to anyone, has it? And if it did, then maybe with the background that you might know each other

Everybody here has the opportunity every day to say, I'm quitting and that's it. Easy to say, I know, but if you want to, you can do it. But to blame it explicitly on one person or on Stake, that's really a bit too easy.

It's not black and white, but I think that stake do everything in their power to create an addiction in their users and that is ethically poor.

10 minute, hourly or daily reloads. 3 or 4 emails per day telling you to deposit, 12 tweets, 15 telegram messages, weekly and monthly, multiple ongoing promotions that require time and activity.. having to wager, wager, wager to get bonuses for which there's a sense of urgency to claim while they're still available.

You can opt out of each or all of these forms of communication, but then you're getting a worse deal than people who don't. Creating that FOMO is unnecessarily manipulative and is only to create addiction.

Casinos in countries with more strict regulation don't allow most of the things stake does for the reason that it will create or strengthen an addiction.

The most damning thing for stake is that players cannot set deposit or wager limits. I can't think of any other way to describe that than cruel.

I know this sounds like i am one of stakes employees (and i am NOT)

But you have the option to deactivate twitter notifications, same for the telegram, and you could block any mail from *@stake.com in your mail app, if you are not strong enough to resist.

I know also, that this is said easily, but you always have options. But you have the WANT this for yourself and i also know that it is sometimes hard and and and...

But to only point the finger at stake saying they make you addicted is to easy aswell. But i get the point what lots of people trying to tell, for sure.

The restaurant would be happy too if you eat your burger only there, to drink your beer only at one pub, to buy all your foods at one local dealer and and and

at the end of the day it is all about money money money

when you dont like the behaviors of stake, why dont you change the site then and do you think other sites will handle this any other? As i said in the other thread... i was shocked about the bonus email stake sent to users and i dont like that they seperate people without letting people know why and how they chose. it is solely up to me how i deal with the situation. i have decided for myself that i will not make any more deposits here until i have explanations for myself that i can live with. and i have stuck to this for 12 days and will continue to do so

When all those users posting in that topic would be a little bit more consistent, believe me stake would notice this for sure. And so it is everyones own fault if they continue to support these things.

I don't think you talk like a stake employee at all and you always make a lot of sense. It's a subjective topic and one that I'm conflicted about. I agree that there should be personal responsibility, but I think there are degrees of what is acceptable in the modern world if we all have a little humanity.

Drug dealers shouldn't sell drugs to children or people who are obviously mentally disabled. Casinos should offer deposit limits at a bare minimum for their customers. Selling drugs for euthanasia is an honourable thing to do if there is a system in place to check that the need is genuine, etc.

If you or I work in a bar in some western countries and we sell an already drunk guy another drink, we can have legal issues because of their actions. I don't think it can be all or nothing. The world is a lot less free if everybody has complete freedom to do as they please and to shoulder the consequences.
