Casinos should offer deposit limits at a bare minimum for their customers. Selling drugs for euthanasia is an honourable thing to do if there is a system in place to check that the need is genuine, etc. If you or I work in a bar in some western countries and we sell an already drunk guy another drink, we can have legal issues because of their actions. I don't think it can be all or nothing. The world is a lot less free if everybody has complete freedom to do as they please and to shoulder the consequences. I agree with you in every point. But stake hasnt to, because thats why they maybe dont want to be a MGA licenced casino!? As i am from a country with some crazy rules (AFAIK other countries have the same or even mor restrictive). Streamers moved to other countries just to stream slots without bet size limits. Imagine going to left your family and friends behind, only to make money out of business. Only this little example shows the impact it can have And i am going to tell you what. I worked in that business for years until i got broken into pieces physically and mentally like you cant imagine. Had also a stroke last year and was lucky not to suffer any consequential damage from it. It took a lot of time to recover and to understand that i cant erase that chapter out of my mind and that i have to live with that. And the most important is: I cant undo it You could offer me a salary of 1 million a month and i would never ever put a feet back in the business. My job was kinda the same like eddies, but for land based casinos. And only because of this i know exactly what gamblers are going to tell you when they lose money at your casino. I got attacked with knifes, axes and already had a gun on my backhead. And believe me, i am not that kind of a guy where you think you will get me down easily. People are going nuts and crazy and they find out where you live and coming to your house, destroy your car, smashing your windows, ringing at the door, waiting for your wife etc... one day i started to blame myself heavily because i thought i was responsible for ruining families, lifes and everything related to that. i had reached the lowest point of my life and then i left that business. What happens after is absolutely no topic for the public, but it was horrible i am telling you. If you ask me, i will never ever ever ever wanna change life with eddie, no matter how rich he is. There will be a time when eddie is not able to leave his house without thinking of someones gonna come out of the corner and hes gonna be attacked. Thats the opposite of the "bling bling life" as a owner or manager of a casino! I can understand every gambler and their feelings when they lose money and coming to the chat/forum and complain about that. I went through this a million times and i wish every gambler the maximum of luck and hopefully everyone is in profit one day. On the other side everyone should know this wont be the reality and on the long term everyone will be down bad. Maybe, yeah maybe thats why i can be so consistent and separate everything easier without thinking of "how can i get my next depo" and not going crazy. I play slots most of the time for fun and not to make money. You can imagine i got a very good salar in that time and lots of money went through my fingers. Money means absolutely nothing to me. But... what should never happen is the fact, that people are coming to the chat/forum and starting to wish @eddie his death. I saw that several times in the past and this is an absolut NO-GO. I do really hope for everyone of you at stake all the best for the future and from the deepest bottom of my heart i wish everyone the most of luck when they risk their money. This is no BS talking and it was worth the long text when only one person get something out of it.
Idkwhat2say Posted March 25, 2023 #54 Posted March 25, 2023 if my weekly isnt atleast 200 to 300 i will be pissed its been a bad week..
Maroons8989 Posted March 25, 2023 #55 Posted March 25, 2023 I’m not blaming Eddie nor am I saying stake is responsible for suicides but they do play a part. Gambling is becoming an epidemic (especially in the states). The CEO of PaddyPower (one of the largest gambling sites in the world) stepped down because of the suicide numbers and his role in the growing problem. Everything on stake is designed to lure people in and keep them there. they didn’t even do an age verification for their first 3+ years of operating and the average of their streamers’ audiences is like 15-24. So many red flags. And there’s no transparency at all. Nobody knows if these games are legitimate, nobody is auditing the software.
xvuzendjdk Posted March 25, 2023 #56 Posted March 25, 2023 you should get these very good dude bonuses
ralfonso Posted March 25, 2023 #57 Posted March 25, 2023 @zvujas Better tell us what were you doing on Stake, besides the obvious - playing and possibly losing? 😁
NordJ Posted March 29, 2023 #59 Posted March 29, 2023 Every time you lose, you wish of never gambling

You can opt out of each or all of these forms of communication, but then you're getting a worse deal than people who don't. Creating that FOMO is unnecessarily manipulative and is only to create addiction. Casinos in countries with more strict regulation don't allow most of the things stake does for the reason that it will create or strengthen an addiction. The most damning thing for stake is that players cannot set deposit or wager limits. I can't think of any other way to describe that than cruel. This probably explains why they weren’t able to receive a license to operate in Ontario— a reputable licensing authority.
