Como eu disse anteriormente eu passo o meu dia todo no computador e a maioria dessas horas na Stake, então gostaria de estar ali como um moderador para ajudar quem precisa, manter um pouco a organização que sempre acontece algum desentendimento no chat, ajudar o time de mods a manter o chat um local amigável e legal, e sempre ajudar quem precisa com as dúvidas ou regras. É algo comum de se fazer, e eu gostaria de participar disso (Em uma mês já ate ganhei o prêmio de amigo do chat, acho que deve ter sido por ajudar os colegas com algumas dúvidas e ser uma pessoa legal com todos! )

Todos os principais jogadores da Stake sabem bem as regras, mas infelizmente acontece de quebra´-las. Entendo que as regras existentes podem, em certas ocasiões, entrar em conflito com a cultura brasileira, resultando em punições para muitos. Culturalmente, essa dinâmica pode gerar desafios, como evidenciado pela quantidade de pessoas que relataram punições neste tópico.

No entanto, acredito que minha presença no chat sempre foi a de um jogador ocasional, ciente de que posso cometer erros, mas sem muitas preocupações. Este é um comportamento diferente do que se espera quando se representa uma empresa, algo que já fiz ao longo de vários anos. 4 - I work as a chat moderator for more than 7 years on smaller sites like skins gambling, and i work in english. I'd love the experience to work in portuguese as it is my native language and i already know most of the communiy and it's rules (even tho i broke them sometimes, but who didn't? haha)

 

5 -  Yes, last night i was muted, totally deserved tho even apologized to the mod. Doesn't happen often as i'm a chat moderator myself and i'm a "follow the rules" kind of guy.

 

6 - Yes as i mentioned before, i have plenty of experience with modding, keeping the community friendly, and when i'm working i'm 100% focused at my job. Honestly i'm 100% confident about my skills, i can be strict when needed and friendly most of the time. ATM i'm modding on a rust/priorcsgo/ skins website for more than 4 years. I feel i fit perfectly for the job and i'm 100% capable of handling anything, if i handle in another language (self taught btw) i'm pretty sure i can do much better in my native language!

 

7 - I'm 100% prepared for nighttime or even more than that if needed. I'm 100% available.

 

Forgot to mention i'm brazilian!

As a final thought, i appreciate that we're getting a nighttime moderator, it was badly needed. I love the community but people tend to don't behave when mods aren't there, and i as a mod and also a player, know how a toxic/badvibes chat can dramatically change your experience.

first be well informed about the area we are dealing with, crypto and also about the site and its activities, then be attentive, impartial, enforce the rules, answer questions in chat, be quick with information, that is, moderator is not just there to serve as decoration

well, as you can see in my profile, I'm already a bit old here, so I know a lot about user actions and I already have a certain knack that I can use to my advantage to deal with different situations that may occur, discipline, conciliation when necessary, having balance so as not to be too harsh nor too liberal, in the right measure so as not to cause an uproar and maintain peace in the chat.

How much time on average do you spend on chat every day? I usually spend several hours at the chat when I'm being active, something around 8 hours, but I haven't talked a lot recently. I'd be able to stay between 12-20 hours a day if needed.

Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is? The job of a moderator is to facilitate discussion, maintain order, resolve conflicts and ensure safety at the chat to all users.

Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat? I sincerely want to be a moderator on this chat because there were some nights that I saw many people doing forbidden things and there were no one that could do something to stop it, so, I kinda had that dream for more than a year and I would be really grateful if I could help the moderators that were always there for me! (Thank you luizoruivo and sasor for always doing your best!)

Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned? Yes, I've been muted one time since I joined stake (May 28th, 2021), and it was because I changed chat from the brazilian portuguese to the english chatroom, I have to say that it was an honest mistake, since I did knew that jumping through chats was against the rules, but, I thought that the english chatroom were for everyone to use, just like Challenges and Sports, and, after that occasion, I've never been muted again because I follow the rules strictly.

Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform? Not really, but, I do not think I would have any problems to work with it since I'm pretty communicative and I pay attention to our brazilian mods work a lot.

Are you prepared to work at nighttime? Sure, in fact, I've been waiting for so many months for this opportunity to work at the nighttime at stake, because it's a part of the day that I always miss a moderator, and it's quite fair actually since it's not a good time for everyone to be online, but, I'm ready to accept this role if you guys think that I deserve it.

 

So, I answered all of these questions in english to show that, even though my mother language is portuguese, I do happen to be fluent in english too, so, it could potentially help us in communicating!
